Text your agent from your phone
Goal: text your Chief of Staff from your iPhone and get a reply, with nothing to install. This assumes you’ve onboarded a team. Connecting a channel needs a workspace owner or admin.
Open Channels
In Cohort, go to Settings → Channels and click Connect on iMessage.
Enter your phone number
Use the number you’ll text from, in full international format, such as +14155550100.
Text the line
The wizard shows your Chief of Staff’s iMessage number. Text it anything, for example “What’s on my plate today?”. That first text finishes the pairing and goes straight to your agent, so it replies to what you actually wrote.
Keep the conversation going
Save the number as a contact. Text it whenever you like: ask for a reminder, hand off an errand, or ask a follow-up tomorrow. Your Chief of Staff answers what it can and passes the rest to the right teammate as a task, then tells you who has it.
