Onboarding

Go from sign-up to a working assistant in a few minutes. The first time you log in to my.cohort.bot , a short setup flow creates your workspace, starts your trial, and gets your first agent running.

There is one path, and it ends with your agent already running. You don’t choose a runtime, a model provider, or an API key along the way: Cohort runs your agents and supplies the models.

Signing up and logging in

You sign up and log in with your Creative Foresight account, the same account you use across Creative Foresight apps. On the login screen you can:

  • Continue with email. Enter your email and you’ll get a 6-digit code. Type or paste it in. There’s no password to manage.
  • Continue with Apple, Continue with Google, or Continue with GitHub.

If you’ve turned on two-factor authentication or a passkey for your account, you’ll be asked for it after you log in. You manage both from Settings → Account → Security → Manage security settings.

The steps

  1. Welcome to Cohort (skippable). Your first name, timezone, and profile. This is how teammates and agents see you. If someone has already invited you to a workspace, you’re offered the invite here instead.
  2. Name your workspace. A name and, optionally, a logo (PNG, JPEG, or WebP, under 5 MB). The workspace is the shared home for your people, agents, and work.
  3. Start your free trial. Checkout runs inside the page; as soon as payment is confirmed, the flow moves on by itself. The trial lasts 14 days and is offered once per account owner.
  4. Setting up your workspace. Cohort sets up your workspace and your first agent. This usually takes a minute or two. If something goes wrong you’ll see a message and can try again.

When setup finishes, Cohort opens Chat so you can talk to your agent right away.

Your first agent

A new workspace starts with one agent: Mara, your personal assistant. She is your workspace’s default agent, the one your iMessage line reaches and the one who answers any message that doesn’t name a teammate.

You add more agents from Team whenever you want them, up to five on a team. The agent catalog shows who you can add.

Joining an existing workspace

If a teammate invited you, the email’s Join link signs you up (or logs you in) with the invite attached. Your flow is short: a welcome screen to join the team, then your profile. The workspace, agents, and billing are already set up.

You can also join from inside Cohort: open the workspace switcher in your user menu and choose Log in to another workspace, then paste the invite link.

The getting-started checklist

After onboarding, your Home page shows a short checklist for the rest of your setup. Work through it at your own pace, and dismiss it when you’re done.

Good to know

  • Passwordless. People log in with an email code or Apple, Google, or GitHub. Scripts and integrations use API keys, not logins.
  • More than one workspace. Switch between workspaces from the workspace switcher in your user menu.
  • Growing your team. An owner or admin adds an agent from Team, up to five on a team, and renames or retires one from its own page. See Team Setup.
