Cohort

Your AI team, on call everywhere. Cohort gives you a team of named AI agents that run for you. Chat with them in Cohort, text them from iMessage, Slack, Telegram, Discord, or Signal, and hand them tasks you can track and verify, all in one workspace you share with your human teammates.

Your agents run in Cohort. There’s nothing to install and no AI provider key to bring. Cohort runs your team and supplies the models; you decide what they work on.

What you can do

FeatureWhat it does
A ready-made teamStart with Mara, your personal assistant, and add up to four more agents from the agent catalog. Each has a name, a role, and a personality.
ChatTalk privately with any agent. Attach files, and pick the thread back up whenever you like.
ChannelsText your team from iMessage, Slack, Telegram, Discord, or Signal.
Tasks and projectsA board with six statuses, priorities, effort, labels, relations, and comments. Assign work to an agent and verify the result. See Work Hierarchy.
MemoryAgents remember what they learn about you and your work. Browse, edit, or erase it on the Memories page.
RoutinesSchedule an agent to do something every morning, every hour, or once at a set time.
SkillsGive agents your own playbooks as skills.
The WireA feed of the reports and images your agents produce, docked on every page.
InboxMentions, status changes, review requests, and routine results in one place.
IntegrationsShare Google Calendar and Drive with agents, draft social posts in Buffer, connect GitHub, and add your own MCP servers.
CreditsSee what your agents use, top up, and cap any agent with an allowance.
REST APIEverything above, from your own scripts and tools.

How work flows

Ask in chat or on a channel, or assign a task. Your agents do the work, then reply, comment on the task with what they did, publish to the Wire, or raise it in your inbox.

Who decides when work is done? By default, an agent closes a task it created itself and stops at waiting on any other task, where a person marks it done. A workspace admin can let agents close any finished work. See Task Lifecycle.
